For the last 30 years, these two men have kept the Lizzies Old Timers alive.
We've had a dinner in September.
My father had a soft spot for the Lizzies.

I would like to carry on the tradition known as Sons and Daughters of the Lizzies Old Timers.

Of course, we can't replace the original.
Bob Abate made these will never the 150 championship across national boundries in the 1920's, 1930's, 1940's and 1950's in baseball, football and basketball.
Â
But we can capture the spirit of the Lizzies Old Timers!
We can honour those who are still alive and remember those glory days
And some of the stories would have meaning.

My father would want that.

I'm proposing an evening honouring the Lizzies Old Timers.
