USA Softball ACE Coach Education Program awards Staci Londerholm as 10,000th coach of 2019 season

OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball announced today that Staci Londerholm (San Angelo, Texas) has won a prize pack after becoming the 10,000th coach to complete the ACE (Aspire, Challenge, Encourage) Coach Education Program this 2019 season. The ACE Coach Education Program is designed to provide softball coaches of all levels, from beginning coaches to experienced veterans, an opportunity to further their education as a coach with the National Governing Body of Softball. Teaming up with Pocket Radar™ to provide coaches with a prize pack, at every 5,000th milestone USA Softball will award that coach with a brand new Ball Coach Training Tool, courtesy of Pocket Radar™ ($300 value).   “I used to coach at the secondary level and then I quit coaching when I had kids,” said Londerholm. “I am now blessed to get to coach my daughter in softball.”   Having gotten back into coaching and now utilizing the ACE Education courses, Londerholm said, “I like the coaching tips it gives during the online course. It is always good to have a refresher with things always changing.”   As the National Governing Body of Softball, it is USA Softball’s responsibility to ensure that coaches achieve a certain level of understanding of their duties as a coach of a youth softball team. The ACE Coach Education Program videos and the ACE Coach Program Manual are practical guides to the everyday situations encountered as a youth softball coach.   The goal is simple for Londerholm and the team she coaches, Pixie Chics. She said, “With my daughter being young, I just want the Pixie Chics to love the game and learn the fundamentals. I look forward to watching these girls grow as a team and become more fundamentally sound throughout the season.”   It is highly recommended that all coaches wishing to coach at the Championship Play level or those coaches wanting to receive full ACE Coach program benefits become an ACE coach.
