At 50 days of the World Championship, the Technical Team of the Senior Men's National Team announced the list of 17 players that will represent our country in the WBSC World Championship, which will be held in Prague from June 13 to 23.
Argentina is part of Group A, along with Botswana, Cuba, the Philippines, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, and the Czech Republic.
Group B will feature Australia, Canada, Denmark, the United States, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa and Venezuela.
The four best teams will qualify for the playoffs, where they will play straight elimination matches to advance to the semi-final of the tournament. The final will be played on June 23 in Prague.

An experienced staff
Among the 17 chosen by the staff headed by Julio Gamarci, there are 12 players who won the fourth place in the 2017 World Championship, matching the best historical performance of our country in this kind of events.
In addition, 13 of the 15 members of the squad that won the silver medal in the 2017 Pan American Championship are repeated.

Itinerary
The National Team has already confirmed its calendar for the World Championship in the Czech Republic. The campus will leave Buenos Aires on May 30th for Rome, Italy, where it will hold a 4-day training camp, until June 4. That day the squad will travel to the capital of the Czech Republic, where they will play a preparatory tournament, before debuting in the World Cup on June 14.
