OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, is seeking applicants for the position of National Teams Coordinator. This individual’s primary responsibility includes working with the Director of National Teams to oversee and manage logistical coordination for the USA Softball National Team Programs while inventorying and supplying members of the National Teams with all necessary apparel and equipment. This is a full-time position at the National Office in Oklahoma City, Okla. with a benefits package.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate air and ground transportation for various USA Softball National Teams, both domestically and internationally.
  • Communicate all necessary event information to members of the National Teams, staff and Selection Committees as it relates to transportation, schedules, housing and meals.
  • Oversee all apparel-related needs for the National Teams, including ordering, inventorying and outfitting.
  • Oversee all equipment-related needs for the National Teams, including shipping to and from events.
  • Coordinate all necessary United States Anti-Doping Agency requirements for player pools, including communication with National Team athletes on Whereabouts information.
  • Submit paperwork to the United States Olympic Committee as it pertains to USA Softball-supplied competitive apparel and equipment for Olympic and Pan American Games.
  • Assist the Director of National Teams with budgeting, housing, transportation, meals/per diem, practice facilities and meeting space requirements for National Team events.
  • Assist the Director of National Teams with National Team Selection Trials, including but not limited to:
    • Submitting all necessary paperwork to the United States Olympic Committee
    • Coordinating all flight/ground transportation and rooming needs for athletes and staff
    • Creating Selection Trials schedules
    • Securing facility/meeting space and umpires for scrimmage games
  • Assist the Director of National Teams with the development of exchange items for international events.
  • As needed, travel with National Teams to both domestic and international events in team leader roles.
  • Input game data into scouting software programs for National Teams.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
 
Education and Required/Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • High-level organizational skills with the ability to problem solve.
  • Knowledge of fast pitch softball and scouting software preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work weekends.
 
The pay range for this position is $35,000-$42,000.
