OKLAHOMA CITY – The complete game and television schedule for the USA Softball International Cup has been announced as over 40 games are slated to be held July 1-7 in Columbus, Ga.  Most notably known for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games for the sport of softball, the Red, White and Blue will return to the city where Team USA claimed Gold in their Olympic debut.

The USA Softball International Cup, a World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) sanctioned event, will be highlighted by some of the top teams in the world. Teams expected to compete at the USA Softball International Cup are: No. 2 Japan, No. 4 Puerto Rico, No. 5 Mexico, No. 6 Chinese Taipei, No. 8 China, No. 13 Philippines and No. 20 Peru in addition to Team USA’s Women’s National Team and U-19 Women’s National Team.
 
USA Softball is also proud to announce the addition of Scrap Yard Fast Pitch and USSSA Pride to the lineup of participating teams. Scrap Yard Fast Pitch, an independent women’s softball team based out of the Houston, Texas area, is slated to compete in the USA Softball International Cup while the USSSA Pride, a professional softball team within the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) league, will play three exhibition contests in conjunction with the International Cup.
 
Teams will participate in round-robin action with the third and fourth best overall record teams playing for the Bronze on Sunday, July 7 at 11 a.m. ET.  The top two international teams will compete in the USA Softball International Cup Championship Game at 12 p.m. ET.
 
ESPN is set to produce and distribute four USA Softball games and the Championship Game with all ESPN telecasts also available for live streaming via the ESPN app.  The 2019 television schedule will include more than 10 hours of live coverage on ESPN and ESPN2, which is highlighted by multiple prime time windows. For each ESPN-distributed contest, Courtney Lyle will serve as the play-by-play commentator while two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Michele Smith will join her as an analyst.

All non-televised games will be available to view via a free live stream at USASoftballInternationalCup.com.
 
All-session VIP passes, which include a souvenir item, are $150 while General Admission passes are $90 for both adult and youth tickets.  Single-session tickets are also available for $25 and General Admission for $15.  Children five and under will receive free admission.
