Want to be involved in one of the best fastpitch tournaments of the summer?? If you do, you’ll want to be a part of the 1st Annual Tidefest Classic in Lantz/Brookfield, Nova Scotia from July 9th – July 12th, 2020.
First thing, what is Tidefest?? Tidefest is a huge event that takes place in East Hants every year. From concerts to street hockey to strongman competitions, there is a variety of events going on for families to enjoy and the SBGFL is now going to part of this fantastic festival. To learn more on Tidefest visit their website at http://tidefest.ca
With eight teams already confirmed, we are looking at 10-12 teams for the tournament so get in while you still can. Entry fee will be $500.00 and this will guarantee you three games. Prize for winning the tournament will range from $1500.00 to $2000.00. Depending on amount of teams could be more.
There will be canteen and washroom facilities in both Brookfield and Lantz. The tournament will be run all in Lantz after Friday’s games and there will be a beer garden on site for those who wish to wet their whistle.
