The 4th annual Legends of Fastball Classic will heat up the Ontario summer fastball scene when it brings it 2007 edition to
Woodstock and District Community Complex, June 1-3.
The Legends has drawn some of the best teams in the eastern part of Canada and the US , and past tournament winners include Broken Bow Spirit in 2004 and 2005, and the Orillia Riversharks in 2006 .
Due to some scheduling conflicts and player unavailability, there is an opening to add a senior level team to this years line up. The format is a 2 division round - robin structure with the top 3 in each division advancing to a single elimination playoff. The top place team will get a buy in the first round and there will be an immediate cross-over between divisions to start the playoffs. Travel purses of $3000, $1500, $500 and $500 have been awarded in past events to the top finishing teams.

The tournament draw will be completed May 1, 2007, and all teams are expected to be available to play on Friday night.
Woodstock is located 30 minutes west of Kitchener on highway # 401. The Quality Hotel and Suites will have special room rates for teams and is located 5 minutes from the Community Complex diamonds.
