OKLAHOMA CITY –– USA Softball has officially announced details for the 2021 USA Softball Girls’ Class A Fast Pitch National Championships and GOLD National Championships in the Girls’ Junior Olympic (JO) Division. Spread across six states, teams will once again have the opportunity to compete for a coveted USA Softball National Championship title in their respective division. USA Softball annually conducts thousands of tournaments throughout the country including over 100 National Championships.
 
The USA Softball Girls’ 10-Under East (Columbus, Ga.), Girls’ 10-Under West (North Mankato, Minn.), Girls’ 12-Under (Richmond, Va.), Girls’ 14-Under (Johnson City, Tenn.), Girls’ 16-Under (Sioux Falls, S.D.), Girls’ 16-Under GOLD (Salem, Va.), Girls’ 18-Under (Lancaster, Calif.), and Girls’ 18-Under GOLD (Salem, Va.) are set and will take place throughout the month of July.

GOLD 16-Under & 18-Under National Championships
Hosted by USA Softball of Virginia, the 2021 GOLD Nationals, which encompass the 16-Under and 18-Under divisions, will be held July 18-24 with games being  played across three locations: Botetourt Sports Complex, Burton Softball Field and James Moyer Sports Complex. “The Roanoke Valley in Virginia is pleased to host the 2021 USA Softball 18U & 16U GOLD National Championship,” said USA Softball of Virginia Junior Olympic (JO) Commissioner, John McPhail. “The Roanoke Valley has hosted 56 USA Softball National Championships (formerly ASA) and we believe that you will find our staff qualified and able to assist you. Our facilities are some of the best in the country with the Botetourt Sports Complex winning ASA Complex of the Year for 2012 and the Moyer Sports Complex winning ASA Complex of the Year for 2011. Four Parks and Recreation Departments that include the City of Salem, City of Roanoke, Roanoke County, and Botetourt County along with USA Softball of Piedmont Virginia and Virginia’s Blue Ridge will come together to bring you this prestigious event.”
 
Girls’ 10-Under Class A East Fast Pitch National Championship
Set to be held in Columbus, Ga. at South Commons Sports Complex, the 2021 Girls’ 10-Under Class A East Fast Pitch National Championship is scheduled for July 22-25. Most notably known for hosting the historic 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games for the sport of softball where the Red, White and Blue claimed the first-ever Olympic Gold Medal, teams in the 10-Under Class A East Division will compete at this historic site. South Commons Softball Complex is an eight-field complex, which includes a five-field hub with a roundhouse and a three-field fan with a new LED lighting, scoreboards, field drainage systems, stadium seats, fencing, renovated restrooms and concessions, paint, sidewalks, ADA compliant ramps, netting, Wi-Fi and internet access, and updated umpire rooms, press box and skyboxes. Girls’ 10-Under Class A West Fast Pitch National Championship
Taking place in North Mankato, Minn. from July 22-25, participants in the Girls’ 10-Under Class A West Fast Pitch National Championship will play at Caswell Park Sports Complex. Constructed in 1985, Caswell Park is located just 75 miles southwest of Minneapolis and is a nationally recognized sporting facility for softball competitions. "Caswell Sports and the City of North Mankato is looking forward to hosting the 2021 Girls' USA Softball 10U West National Championship,” said Caswell Sports Director, Phil Tostenson. The community has been very fortunate to host many USA Softball Championships over its 34-year history and we are excited to continue in 2021 by hosting this tournament. "
 
Girls’ 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship
Set to begin July 20 in Richmond, Va. the Girls’ 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship will last through July 25, and be played across four facilities: Dorey Park, Dumbarton Complex, Glen Allen Complex and RF&P Park. “Henrico County and the Greater Richmond metropolitan area are excited to be named the host location for the USA Softball Girls' 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship,” said USA Softball of Virginia Junior Olympic (JO) Commissioner, John McPhail. “We’re a community of runners, hikers, bikers and ballplayers. We’re an outdoor playground, designed by Mother Nature, with class III and IV rapids running right through our downtown. A 52-mile bike trail runs along the James. Girls’ 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship
Teams participating in the Girls’ 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship will travel to Johnson City, Tenn. and compete July 19-25 at Winged Deer Park. For more information, teams can visit the Girls’ 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship event page.
 
"Johnson City is proud to host the 2021 Girls' 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship," said USA Softball of Tennessee JO Commissioner, Tina Gale. "It is such an honor for Johnson City to be awarded this tournament and our goal as the host is to create a National Championship atmosphere that these girls will cherish for a lifetime. We last hosted the 14U A National in 2006 with 111 teams participating. We treat coaches, athletes, families and USA Softball officials from the National Office just like family. Girls’ 16-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship

“USA Softball of South Dakota, The City of Sioux Falls, and Sioux Falls People for Youth (SFPFY) are looking forward to hosting the 2021 Girls’ Class A 16-Under National Championship,” said SFPFY President, Dave Nielsen. “Sioux Falls is known for great facilities and hospitality that always makes for a perfect week of competition and memories for all participating teams.”  
 
Girls’ 18-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship
For the Girls’ 18-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship, USA Softball of Southern California will host teams Aug. 3-8 in Lancaster, Calif. “USA Softball of Southern California is looking forward to hosting the 2021 Girls’ Class A 18-Under National Championship,” said USA Softball of Southern California Commissioner, Christina Drumm. “Southern California is known for great weather and facilities that always make for a perfect week of competition and memories for all participating teams.”
 
During the 2020 National Championship season, the Phantoms took home the Girls’ 10-Under East Fast Pitch National Championship trophy while Georgia Impact – Lunsford claimed the title in the Girls’ 14-Under Class A division. Finishing on top at the Girls’ 16-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship was Tennessee Mojo 04 – Fisher with the SE Flyers raising the trophy in the Girls’ 18-Under Class A division. At the 2020 GOLD National Championships, held in Oklahoma City, Okla. and Broken Arrow, Okla., Hotshots Premier Nelson (16-Under) and the Birmingham Thunderbolts (18-Under) were crowned National Champions in their respective age divisions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Girls’ 10-Under West Fast Pitch National Championship and Girls’ 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship were canceled.
