The Peligro Sports Fastball event is all set to host some of the best fastpitch players and club teams in the world, June 30 - July 3, 2022.

 

Here is a quick fact sheet to keep you in the loop, and hopefully we will add a number more teams to this world class event.

 

*  Host hotel will be the Mitchell Executive Hotel, Fort Lee, NJ...near the George Washington Bridge (formerly Holiday Inn).

 

* Air travel is best booked through Newark, NJ although LaGuardia is slightly closer but much more traffic congestion.

 

* There are 3 hotels close together, including the host, that are offering very good rates. The rates are indicative of the quality of the venues and amenities.

Doubletree, Fort Lee - 1 201 582 5214 ask for Yong Choi ...$139.00 plus tax

 

HYATT, Fort Lee - 1 201 849 5900 ask for Samaria...$149.00 plus tax

 

Teams are responsible to book their own rooms just ask for the PELIGRO Tournament Block.

 

* The Umpire In Chief again this year will be Jon Hand. Jon is working on finalization of a work class team of experienced umpires for the weekend and will have a 10 person group of veterans from both Canada and the USA.

 

* The tournament will provide for any team needing a June ISC qualifying game by playing a handful of games on Thursday evening June 30. If you are one of those teams please contact the tournament director to schedule this in.

 

* The tournament will be a divisional format , specifics will be contingent on total number of teams.

 

* Committed teams include...NY Gremlins, J + B Bombers, Circle Tap Dukes, Kitchener Hallman Twins... interested teams should contact Tournament Director for further questions.

 

* Entry Fee for the world class event is $800

 

* Total Travel Purse will be $10,000 to be distributed contingent on number of participating teams.

 

* Tournament games scheduled for Thursday, June 30 will be played in New Jersey while all other games will be scheduled for Randall Island, NY
