Brampton, ON - - Update on News Items from AlsFastball.com
The number of actual Fastball News Stories we are receiving via email for posting to our web site http://www.alsfastball.com/ is smaller these days, as some of our regular followers have noticed!
Part of the explanation for this is obviously the many other options Fastball fans have to share their News Stories. The most common alternative to actually writing a story and emailing it to us, is of course, Facebook!
That is OK, if the sender actually is satisfied with the potential number of readers who may see and read the article. One of the challenges of using just Facebook to distribute any kind of news is, Who is Going to See and Read the Article?
There are so many Facebook pages and News Groups that there is a good chance, not all the Facebook Fans you are trying to reach will actually see the article. If that Facebook page has a regular following, then there is a good chance they will, but with so many pages to check, they may miss it.
The advantage of posting Fastball News Stories on established web pages, like http://www.alsfastball.com/ and http://www.fastpitchwest.com/ is that those pages are well known in our Fastball Community and many followers check those sites every day.
That being said, we do not want to miss any opportunity to spread the gospel according to the Fastball gods so we too take advantage of the opportunity to “mine” fresh (and frequently generated Fastball History) stories off of Facebook and share it on our own Facebook page.
There are currently 3,629 members and that number grows each day!
We are considering copying a few of the stories posted on that news group and adding them to our main site each week.
Feel free to check out that site and join in if interested but please, keep visiting http://www.alsfastball.com/ on a regular basis, and please tell your friends about the site as well, if they are true Fastball friends.
And, by all means, if you have a fastball tournament coming up, please email us the info and we will post it on our site for you
