Al,

Final preparations are being put in place for the 4th Annual Mick & Angelo's
Snapper Shootout. The Shootout will run from June 1-3 with all the games
being played at Centennial Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. Friday's
match-ups will start at 7:15pm with the Niagara Falls Fury taking on GHFL
rival, Palermo Athletics. The Elora Brewers will battle the Hamilton Hawks
and the Waterdown Hammer will toil with the Napanee Junior Express. Three
more games will start at 9:15pm with the Glencoe Astros facing Keatings
Fitness, CPI Fastpitch locking horns with South Lebanon TNT and the host,
Niagara Snappers taking the field against the 2006 ISC II Champion,
Tavistock Merchants.

Opening Ceremonies will precede the Niagara/Tavistock game and for the long
time ball fans in Niagara and beyond, the 1975 OASA Intermediate "AA"
Champions, Caverly Dugouts will be honored. Also of note, Niagara's own
"Razorbax" will take the Beer tent stage Saturday evening starting at 7pm.

DIRECTIONS TO CENTENNIAL PARK:
FROM NORTH OF ST. CATHARINES (HAMILTON, TORONTO, KITCHENER)

* Follow the QEW towards Niagara.
* Cross over the Garden City Skyway.
* Exit the QEW at exit 38B (Highway 55/Niagara-on-the-Lake), this exit will
curve to the right.
* Go to your second stoplight (there is a Wendy's and Tim Horton's on the
left)
* At that stoplight, make a right hand turn (York Road)
* Follow York Road approx. 5 minutes (you will enter the town of St.
David's)
* When you come to a 4 way stop, make a left hand turn (Four Mile Creek
Road)
* Follow Four Mile Creek Road approx 7 kilometers (about 5 miles) into the
town of Virgil
* On your right hand side you will see the Centennial Arena and Sports Park
* NOTE this is before stop lights, if you hit the stop lights you have gone
too far
* Turn into the driveway and go around the back of the arena where there is
plenty of parking

FROM SOUTH OF ST. CATHARINES (PENNSYLVANIA, NEW YORK)

* If you are crossing from Lewiston Bridge
* Stay on Highway 405 until you come to the merge with the QEW
* When you merge stay in the right hand lane
* Take your first exit (Highway 55/Niagara-on-the-Lake)which is the LAST
EXIT BEFORE the Garden City Skyway
* At the lights at the top of the off ramp, make a right hand turn
* You will come to another set of lights, make a right hand turn (York Road)
* Follow York Road approx. 5 minutes (you will enter the town of St.
David's)
* When you come to a 4 way stop, make a left hand turn (Four Mile Creek
Road)
* Follow Four Mile Creek Road approx 7 kilometers (about 5 miles) into the
town of Virgil
* On your right hand side you will see the Centennial Arena and Sports Park
* NOTE this is before stop lights, if you hit the stop lights you have gone
too far

* Stay on the QEW through Fort Erie and Niagara Falls heading into St.
Catharines
* Exit at Highway 55/Niagara-on-the-Lake (last exit before the Garden City
Skyway)
* At the lights at the top of the off ramp, make a right hand turn
* You will come to another set of lights, make a right hand turn (York Road)
* Follow York Road approx. 5 minutes (you will enter the town of St.
David's)
* When you come to a 4 way stop, make a left hand turn (Four Mile Creek
Road)

The Shootout will have a licensed beer garden in the heart of the Centennial
Park complex in addition to a fully stocked concession stand. Come on out
