The 37th Annual Kelso Klassic wrapped up with the St. Louis Honeybadgers winning the championship over the Kansas City Reds by a score of 4-1 in the winner's bracket final. The championship round was in the bottom of the 3rd inning with no score when rain and lightning forced the game to be suspended. It eventually had to be canceled today because of wet grounds. The Reds had defeated Clubhouse Bar & Grill 2-0 in the loser's bracket final to gain a rematch with the Badgers. Here are all the results from the weekend:

Great weather on Friday and most of Saturday turned into a monsoon on Sunday and the grounds were simply too wet to finish the games. The crowds were good and most of the games were intense pitching duals. It turned out to be a trademark Kelso Klassic. We hope the tradition will continue but it will be contingent on the early response and commitment that teams make over the winter. Tentative dates for the 2025 tournament will be June 13,14,15. Make your plans to be here!
