USA qualify for Women's Softball World Championship Final they will play the Canada-Japan winner
Welcome to a recap of day three at the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup - Finals, where the top eight national teams in the world will compete for the Gold Medal in Castions di Strada.
Castions di Strada, Italy - The US edged Japan 2-0 and remain undefeated. They will defend their World Title in the final. Canada beat the Netherlands 6-3 on Larissa Franklyn's three-run walk-off home run and will face Japan on Friday, July 19. The winner will play against the USA. World No. 1 USA and No. 5 Canada won on Day 1 of the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals 2024 Super Round. The US defeated Japan, while Canada came from behind to walk off the Netherlands.
The United States qualified for the World Championship Final.
