PETER HALLMAN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT July 26 27 28  Peter Hallman Ball Yard Kitchener

 

The following week fastpitch fans will enjoy  the annual Peter Hallman Memorial Fastball  Tournament with eight  teams competing at Peter Hallman Ball Yard including two Canadian Championship teams, one of which is a "back to back" National Champion..

 

 The Tavistock Merchants Under23  are  the  current  2023 Softball Canada U23 Men's  Champions and the Toronto Batmen are the2023  Men's Canadian National Champs (ISC# 6)

 

Tavistock is Canadian Championship club with an top  squad of talented players.They are back to back National Champions with wins in 2022 and 2023, They are laser focused on winning the third title later this month in Kitchener at Peter Hallman Ball Yard.

 

Note; The U23 Tavistock beat the Toronto Batmen, the Canadian Champs in the Innerkip tournament championship game in May.  

 

Looking to match and beat these two teams will be the Ohsweken Redmen, (ISC # 17) Georgian Bay Giants ,(ISC #20) the Chippewa Chiefs, the Waterdown Hammer.(ISC#16) Nova Scotia Mastodons  and the Micksburg Twins  

 

The Peter Hallman Memorial Fastpitch tournament and the Cephas Roth have built  a reputation for showcasing great ball players  from around the world  as well as featuring the great local talents on  great Ontario fastpitch teams.

Listed are players from around the world, around Canada, around Ontario  and around South Western Ontario

 

  from Australia, New Zealand,, Argentina, Mexico, Czech republic,

 

across Canada......Alberta, :Newfoundland /  Labrador, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan

 

around the province  there are talented Ontario  players from Napanee,  Burlington, Claremont, Waterford, Ottawa, Rama, Brampton

 

From Kitchener Waterloo Cambridge to Owen Sound, there are players from Tavistock, New Hamburg,   Brussels,  Shakespeare, Mitchell,Listowel, Moorefield, Stratford, Monkton, Mildmay,Teeswater, Hanover, Palmerston, Saugeen, Ohsweken,  Chatsworth in these two tournaments..    

 

 

The Lions Club will be hosting the beer tent and Village Catering will be serving their usual great ball park food.

Kitchener is also  hosting u23 teams from across Canada  to compete for the National u23 Men's Fastpitch Championship

 

Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland / Labrador and 4 Ontario Teams, Shallow Lake, Wiarton , Harwood Corners and Tavistock  have all qualified to compete for Ontario in this National Championship.

 

Tavistock is going for their third Canadian Title.
