ONE. Two national Champion teams, The Toronto Batmen; Men's Canadian Fastpitch Champions and the Tavistock Merchants National U23 Men's Fastpitch Champs in back to back seasons, 2022 and 2023
TWO Two teams we have not seen at any tournament in our area. Nova Scotia Mastodons and the Micksburg Twins will be at Peter Hallman Ball Yard for the first time. Some familiar names on the Micksburg team from the Ottawa fastball league
The Chippewa Chiefs are another team making their first appearance here in Kitchener
THREE Returning teams include the Ohsweken Redmen , Georgian Bay Giants, Waterdown Hammer . and the Canadian Champs...Toronto Batmen
Georgian Bay Giants have had an active summer of tournament ball and are rated at #20 on the ISC rankings
Waterdown Hammer ISC ranking 16, is also returning to the Peter Hallman Ball Yard. They had a good run at last weekends Cephas Roth Tournament in Tavistock. Toronto Batmen eliminated them is the semi final game.

KFP has remembered two friends who are missed at all area ball parks.
Tom Walker and Earl Stroh. have their names at the top of the two divisions of the Peter Hallman Memorial Fastball Tournament

Remember also that Peter Hallman Ball Yard is the host of this years Canadian Under 23 National Championship.
The Tavistock Merchants who are participating in this tournament this weekend will be back next weekend to defend their back to back (2022 and 2023) National Championships.
Other teams in the u23 tournament include Wiarton, Shallow Lake,Harwood Corners, Delisle Pride from Saskatoon, Nova Scotia Selects and Newfoundland Labrador's Munro Mariners
A lot of talent on the ball field next weekend.
