New York, NY - - 25th Anniversary Peligro Cup Major Men's Fastball Tournament
On behalf of Jose', Freddy, Carmillo and Peligro Sports, New York City, please be advised of their intent to host the 25th Anniversary Peligro Cup international fastball tournament, June 26 to 29, 2025 at Yankee Stadium Park, Bronx, New York.
The Peligro Cup has been a fastball tradition in New York, and is open to major men's teams, touring National Teams and will certainly be of interest to those teams who have and will qualify for the WBSC World Series in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada, July 8-13, 2025.
There are a lot of changes in regular tournament scheduling for 2025 with the WBSC event happening in July, the peak of the club tournament season in North America. The Peligro Cup has used the last weekend of June for their event for many years and plan to continue with this for both 2025 and years to come.
The details of this event are just in the planning stages but will feature $10,000 in travel prize money, as well as awards for top pitcher, hitter and MVP.
The host hotel will once again be the Hyatt, Fort Lee, and shuttles will carry teams back and forth to Yankee Stadium for games. This has been a standard practice for the past two Peligro events and there has never been a serious glitch to move teams back and forth.
