Finalised Program
The Past and Present Patriots Reunion is all set to coincide with the upcoming Queensland Open Men’s State Tournament to be held October 18-20th at Redlands Softball Association.
We have drawn together a who’s who of fastpitch history in Queensland. Presenting on the evening of October 18th at Craft Brewhouse, Birkdale will be players and officials from the first ever 1984 Queensland Open Men’s team who will be celebrating 40 years since their participation at the inaugural National tournament. There will be Order of Australia Medal holders, Softball Hall of Famers and ISC All World Team members all telling stories of days gone past and previous championship battles. Living legends will tell stories of yester-year. Stories that need to be told and remembered. And the current Aussie Steeler’s Coach will present as will members of the current Queensland Patriots team providing a vision for the future. The CEO of Softball Queensland will provide some reflections and insight from the administration.
Players, fans and officials alike are invited to come together to celebrate, recognise and respect 40 years of Queensland Open Men’s history. If you have a connection to the Queensland Patriots- come along. And it will all be in the comfort of a brewery!!
It’s taken 40 years to get our first ever reunion organised. Don’t wait for the next one!!!
Celebration. Recognition. Respect.
