NZCT Black Sox show hitting power in Canada

The NZCT Black Sox have shown their hitting power today in Canada taking two convincing wins over the Kitchener Hallman Twins 13-3 in the first game and 3-0 in the second fixture.
Game one of the double header today was an outstanding display of hitting from the NZCT Black Sox as they were in complete control taking out the game in five innings.
The NZCT Black Sox were always dominant with all the batters picking up safe hits consistently. From the mound Michael Gaiger stated the game for New Zealand while Heinie Shannon came into the game late to close it out.
Game two of the double header in Tavistock, Toronto Ontario was a much tighter affair with the NZCT Black fighting hard for a 3-0 victory. A feature of the game for the New Zealand team was a huge home run off the bat of Patrick Shannon while outfielder Thomas Makea was strong defensively.
Handling the pitching duties in game two was Jeremy Manley who started the game before being replaced by Heinie Shannon.
The NZCT Black Sox now back their bags and travel to Orillia for a six game international series against Canada which starts on Friday afternoon (New Zealand time).
During the six game series the NZCT Black Sox will have three consecutive days of double headers with games starting at 12pm and 2pm (New Zealand time).
