The MinnDak Millers kicked off their 2006 campaign this past weekend when they won the Gopher State ISC Travel League at
For half of the Millers roster, it was their first game action of the season. Due to coaching commitments, the Millers were without Steve Baumgartner, John Tschida and Jason Wandler.
With six additions in the off-season, MinnDak, ranked 17th in the ISC preseason rankings, played solid softball for an opening weekend as well as given the cold and rainy conditions that were prevalent the majority of the weekend.
