Time to wrap up what was an excellent tournament. This weekend had the best weather for fastball that I have seen for a long time. Temps around 80 degrees. Little humidity made for a pleasant viewing experience for the fans. Great ball alot of young talent showcased their skills. Good pitching, timely hitting and great defense made for alot of great games. Attached are the Individual batting for all players with 10 AB. The pitching all with 1 decision. All team stats and chronological order of finish. Larry Koberg and the folks in Walcott as usual put on a great tournament. Next Week Bret and I will attend The Boys of Summer in Denmark WI thanks to an invitation for Darren Derricks and the Circle Tap team. I believe that this tournament will be every bit as good as the tournament we just attended and the Monkton Tournament. Below are the awards. Beautiful night for fastball. Weather just wonderful. Pork Chop sandwiches were again outstanding.This week Bret and I get the priviledge of working the ISC 23 & Under Tournament. Game 1 Host Walcott Quad City Jr Sox were defeated by Aurora IL ATMI Precast. 3-2. Jonas Mach threw a 2 hitter striking out 17. Mike Glock's hr in the top of the seventh was the winner.

Game 2 saw Rockford IL Clubberz win 8-1. Chris Crimm and Chad Culpa hit HR.

Game 3 Saw The Bar of Appleton defeat Stanberry MO 2-1 Matias Tessore stuck out 15.

Game 4 saw Denmark WI Circle Tap Lumberjacks Take a 3-0 decision over Munger MI. Nick Shailes hit a monster HR THE ONLY EARNED RUN OF THE GAME. Losing pitcher Luke Radnerthrew a 4 hitter striking out 9. Winning Pitcher James Darby threw a 2 hitter. Both hits came with 2 outs in the 7th. Darby struck out 17.
