In a very well played game that seen each team only manage 3 hits during regulation, a play at the plate and the resulting clearing of the benches is what this game will be remembered for.  After battling to a 0-0 tie through seven innings, Quyon's bats came alive in the top of the eighth inning.  After taking a 4-0 lead, Quyon runner Joran Graham made no attempt to slide at a play at the play and ran over the catcher.  This resulted in both benches clearing and eventually the end of the game as Scarborough, when things had cooled down, did not return for their bat in the bottom of the eighth inning.  In all there were 9 ejections, with Graham being suspended for his next game in the tournament.  Steve McCord drove in two runs for Quyon.
