Game Notes
Orleans scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to force the what
if game. Tired Orlean pitching arms and persistent Select bats allowed
Owen Sound to pull away for a 6 inning “A” championship win. Spring
Brook gave up 6 runs in the first inning of the “C” final and then
battled the final six innings in an exciting “C” final.
“A” Series rresulte
1. Newmarket Stingers win 4-1 over Linwood in the ‘first” championship
game. Chepstow is third and Ponsonby 4th. Ponsonby and Newmarket
scored victories over #1 sees Napanee (1-2). Maybe Mike Gallant or
Lindsay could post some scores here. Stratford clubs were curious as
to what was happening in Paris this wknd.
