Heflin Gremlins at the Jarvis Merchants Fastball Challenge
Ballston Lake, NY
After a good Saturdayof Pool A play the Heflin Gremlins from Ballston Lake were 3-0 going into Sunday. Forty degrees, rain and 30 mph winds made for a challenging semi-final game against the Kitchener/Waterloo Twins. The Gremlins were leading 4-3, but in the bottom of the seventh the Twins struck for two runs and the win. With a 3-1 record for the week-end the boys from Ballston Lake went home with a third place finish. Next week the Gremlins will be in Erie, PA. Line scores as follows:
