News From NJ ASA Hall of Fame
Three members of the fastpitch community were recently voted into the NJ ASA Hall of Fame. They are:
Bill Miller: Meritorious Service Category: Sponsor, Manager, Coach: Graf Graphics, NJ Windmillers, Windmillers, and Can-Am Windmillers. (for 20 years beginning in the early 1980's)
Tricia Popowski: Player Category: Infield/Outfield : Clark Wildcats, Budweiser Belles, Raybestos Brakettes, (1980's-1990's)
Shirley Blazier: Player Category: 2nd Base: Linden Arians (for 18 years from 1951-1969)
An induction ceremony will take place on January 20th, 2008 to pay tribute to the latest NJ ASA HOF inductees.
