Schutt Hitmen finish 3rd in the Imoact printing cup

In last nights play off for the Impact printing cup the Schutt Hitmen played off against Metrans Couriers for the right to play Deer Park Hiway in the Championship game.
After a long first 4 inns with no score on the board for both teams Ben Shea from Metrans Singled to centre and was then scored by Kris Kiefel hitting a double to left and that is where the score stayed for the remainder of the game.
Although the Schutt boys out hit Metrans 6 to 3 they could not convert any runners to take the win.
Pitchers from both teams really put on a great display fastpitch making it a great game to watch.

Metrans Couriers went on to win the Championship Game 6 - 2 in a fine hitting display with Kris Kiefel picking up the win in relief of Rohan Mullin.
Congarts to the Boys at Metrans on a good win.
Also this marking the end of our club season we would like to thank Al Doran for putting up our postings this year and we look forward to bring you all the news of the schutt team as it comes to hand over the winter.
To the Schutt players guys thanks for a great year for a first year team we came very far and from all the Schutt team management look forward to you all taking the diamond for us next season.
