After a courageous battle with cancer, passed peacefully with her family by her side at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Wednesday, March 26th, 2008.  Joyce (nee Cox) in her 79th year.  Beloved wife of the late Lionel “Boom Boom” Baker.  Loving Mom and best friend of Stephen, Michael (Dawn), Catherine Hair (Rob), Bradley (Jan) and Jamie (Susanne).  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Sarah, Robert, Bradley, Brenden, Emma, Marie, Easton, Michael, Erin, Lauren, Brodie.  Loving sister of Louise Wylie, Helen Greville, Mary Rogers, and predeceased by Don Cox and Gerald Cox.  Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Mary Cox, many nieces, nephews and friends.
