Ashland Mets 2008 Roster & Schedule

The Ashland Mets have set their roster for 2008 and have several additions to announce.
Our pitching staff will consist of Luke Reymer, Martin Humphries, and Pat Slaunwhite. Luke pitched at The ISCII last year, and is looking to move up to ISC level competition. Martin pitched and played outfield for Innerkip last year, and should help us both on the mound and at the plate. Pat threw well at the 2007 Senior Canadian nationals and is expected to anchor the staff. Pat will join us for selected weekends, including the ISC World in Kimberly, Wi.
We have also added the following position players to the roster: Sean Zaborowski, Tyler Sammy, and Tommy Botkins. Sean played for Plangger's last year and will alternate between catcher and DH. Tyler joins us from Innerkip, and will play second base. Tommy played with Quad Cities last year, and will be our first baseman. These three, plus Martin Humphries, bring ISC experience and add significant punch to our lineup.
