Maccabi USA announces 18th World Maccabiah Games Fastpitch tryouts

Maccabi USA has announced that it will be sending a Men's Master's fastpitch softball team (35 over)
and an Open Men's fastpitch Softball Team (No age limits), to the 18th World Maccabiah Games
in Israel in July 0f 2009.
The games, started in 1932, are held once every 4 years, in the summer following the Olympic Games.
Over 9,000 athletes from 60 countries are expected to compete in over 30 sports, making the
World Maccabiah Games the third largest sports gathering in the world.
Male Jewish fastpitch players from the USA are encouraged to attend the
tryouts which will be held in three cities during the summer of 2008. The schedule
