Weather on Sunday was overcast and cool, but the forecasted showers managed to stay away.  A well played series of games between two evenly matched teams and thus provided the fans with a good glimpse of open level mens fastpitch.  Sincere thanks and appreciation to the Horse Lake Thunder for making the trip to Vancouver and we look forward to seeing them back on July 25 - 27 for the 7th Annual Vancouver Challenge Tournament.

Next action for the Grey Sox is Friday June 13th when they make the short commute to New Westminster to play a doubleheader at 6:45 & 8:30 pm vs the New Zealand Under 19 Mens National Team.  The Friday games vs. New Zealand will be played at Moody Park.  The Grey Sox then return to their home park - South Memorial for a doubleheader on Saturday June 14th vs the Canadian National Under 19 Mens Team - game times are 3:00 & 5:00 pm.  On Sunday June 15th the Grey Sox and the same Canadian National Under 19 Mens team will have a single game starting at 11:00 am, again at South Memorial Park - followed by a social and barbeque for both the teams and members of the Cloverdale Minor Softball Association who will be attending the game as guests of the Grey Sox.
