A&L Farms - Memorial Day Weekend

A&L Farms played in their first tournament of the year and went 3-2 in Walcott, Ia.
As always Walcott put on a good tournament in a great atmosphere.
Game 1 vs. Quad City Sox
We had our chances in this game but walks, a bit of nerves and some jet lag played a factor in this game. Darren Dubsky and Lisandro Sabate took turns in the circle and we let this game get away late to lose 10 -4.
Game 2 vs. Broken Bow.
Lisandro Sabate started this game against the formidable squad. Once again walks took their toll and this game was only close for a few innings. Our shortstop, Delbert Gonzalez, got hit in the face/head while batting but thankfully was not seriously hurt.
Game 3 vs. New Image.
Darren Dubsky threw a complet game with 9 K's as A&L Farms won 7-0.
Game 4 vs. Dolan and Murphy
A&L Farms came out swinging in this one. Cory Christensen hit two homeruns and Lisandro Sabate threw a complete game.
A&L won 16-7.
Game 5 vs. Quad City Sox
Darren threw another complete game and A&L won 6-2.
Dubsky finished the weekend with a 2.06 ERA
