The Aspen Interiors tournment concluded this Sunday with the Aspen Interiors defeating the Poly Plus Diamondbacks 4-0 in the final. WP Trevor Ethier LP James Zuk - HR Aspen - Dale Levy
The Aspen Interiors went 5-0 over the weekend. The Diamondbacks were 3-2 with thier only 2 losses at the hands of Aspen. Bruno ended the round robin at 2-2 for 3rd place with the Aspen Juniors and the Midget Selects rounding out the standings.
Kelley Lenius of the Diamondbacks was named the tournments top hitter with at .625 average. Jordie Gagnon of the Bruno Merchants was named top defensive player, Rick Smith of Aspen Interiors was named top pitcher with an ERA of 0.00 and a 2-0 record. Sean O'brien of the Aspen Interiors was named the tournament MVP.
The tournament saw a couple of short rain delays but overall the weather held out for the weekend.
