The Vancouver Grey Sox completed their 5 game weekend series with the New Zealand and Canadian Under 19 National Teams this afternoon under sunshine and warm weather at South Memorial Park in Vancouver.   The Grey Sox downed Team Canada by a score of 10 - 3 in 5 innings.  Details of today's game and others played this weekend are enclosed below.  The Grey Sox season record now stands at 20 - 3.  Next action for the team is next weekend (June 21/22) in Portland, Oregon where they will participate in the Rose Cup tournament.

Scott Newitt was 4 for 4 at the plate for the Grey Sox with 2RBIs, and Doug Cain was 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs.  The Grey Sox opened an early lead and never looked back in this contest, with both teams commiting untimely defensive miscues which directly resulted in opposition runs.
