NY Knights MAFTL week 2 recap

June 23, 2008

NY, NY

The NY Knights went 3-0 in the league play on Saturday earning a tie with Keatings for the # 1 seed in week 2 of the Mid Atlantic Fastpitch Travel League. Both teams gave up 2 runs and scored 20 so the # 1 seed had to be decided by a coin flip which went our way. We opened the playoff round with a win over KCC of Maryland before losing to TNT of South Lebanon, Pennsylvania in the semi’s. This loss broke a 14 game winning streak for the Knights that extended back to the Memorial Day tournament in Linden. The Knights season record now stands at 17-3-1.
