It is with regrets that I advise that the Vancouver Grey Sox super series vs. Portland, Oregon DeMarini scheduled for June 28 & 29 at South Memorial Park in Vancouver has been cancelled.  The Grey Sox were contacted late this afternoon by the Portland organization, who cited player shortage issues as the reason for the cancellation.
 
The Vancouver Grey Sox organization sends our apologies to our partners South Hill Sports Association who operate South Memorial Park, the local umpires association and the fastpitch fans who were planning to spend the weekend at the ball park, for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause, and also trust you can appreciate it is beyond our organization's control.
 
Next action for the Grey Sox is July 12 & 13 when we will be hosting Whittier, California Team Rainey / IAC.  Doubleheaders start at 3:00 pm on the 12th and 11:00 am on the 13th.
