St. Thomas Centennials in Monkton

After a tough weekend at the World series of Fastball in Monkton, On on the
weekend, The Evergreen Centennials traveled to jarvis last night (Wed) and
swept the Jarvis Gamblers in ISC action with scores of 10-7 and 5-3.

The Weekend

Playing 3 of the top ten teams in the world, Saskatoon (eventual tourney
Champs), southern California and Kitchener, St. Thomas could only muster 7
hits all weekend and only one run in 3 games.

Game 1
Saskatoon (#7) 3 St. T. 1 (#15)

Tane Richardson took the loss giving up 3 runs on 4 hits, 2 BB's while
striking out 4.
Mark Coleman had a solo HR and a walk

Game 2
Kitchener 3 (#3) St. T. 0

Scott Wagar suffered the loss giving up 3 solo Hr's including an inside the
parker from Ryan Wolfe
he gave up 6 hits, 3 BB's and struck out 4.

Andy Jackson and Chris Wismer had the lone St. Thomas hits.

Game 3
Southern Cal (#5) St. T 0

This game began at 8:30 and finished at 1:10 Am after a 2 hour plus rain

Tane Richardson took the loss after keeping St. T in the game for 5 innings
(0-0 after 5)
He gave up 4 runs on 6 hits and struck out 9. Wagar gave up a 2 run Hr in

Mark Coleman had 2 hits, while Tyler Lessard and Wismer added a hit each.

Jarvis Doubleheader

GAme 1

St. T 10 jarvis 7

All nine batters scored in the 3rd inning and The "cents" held on for the
victory. St. T. pounded out 14 hits.

Wagar got the win giving up 7 runs on 8 hits, 2 BB's, he struck out 4.

Mike Pullin had 2 hits including a lead off HR.
Wismer, Richardson and Chad Crawford added 2 hits each

Game 2
St. t 5 jarvis 3

Tane Richardson pitched the win giving up 3 runs on 6 hits and struck out 6.

Coleman had 2 hits and Richardson had a 2 run Hr to lead the way.

Next action for the Evergreen Centennials is a week from Saturday (July
12th) in Kitchener for 3 travel league games and then we will host the
Argentina National Team on July 15th in fingal for a "family night"
