Long time coach Dave Rotella to be honoured at Fastball tournament

Longtime Niagara Falls Men's league coach Dave Rotella will be honoured at Ker Park on July 20th. An alumni game of former Niagara Falls Fastball players will be played Sunday 12 noon in recognition of Dave's long standing commitment to Niagara Falls Fastball. Dave began coaching in the Industrial League in 1973, coached his sons in Minor Boys Fastball in the late 70's and early 80's and began coaching in the NFMFL in 1984 until 2007. Dave has always been extremely respected by both his own players as well competitors over the years. Many of these players
will be returning to Ker Park on Sunday, June 20th to honour Dave in a 3 inning alumni game.

The game is part of a weekend tournament being hosted in Niagara Falls on behalf of the OASA. The tournament is the organizations Provincial Masters Championships and it begins Friday night at 8 pm with local team Niagara Storms Fury taking on Waterloo Classics Masters Fastball Team.
Games continue throughout the weekend culminating in the championship game Sunday at 1 PM. Participating teams include teams include Niagara, Waterloo, Alvinston Indians, Kanata, Aurora Shoeless Joe's and Waterdown Hammer.All games will be at Ker Park. Admission is free to watch some great fastball.
