The Argentina National team played an exhibition double header in Coldwater tonight against the HBC Lightning and Bernie's Tavern. They won both games in front of a nice crowd of nearly 500 at Waterworks Park. Also, tonight the ball field was named Edward E. Deal field in honor of Ed Deal who has run the Coldwater Softball Association for the last 25 years and has been a part of fast pitch in Coldwater for nearly 50 years. His efforts have helped keep the game going strong in Coldwater. Coldwater will also host the ASA Class A/B state championship the weekend of July 25,26,27.
