As many know, College Ave in Appleton will be closed due to construction during the ISC World Tournament so alternative routes from Appleton to Kimberly must be used.
The ISC web site www.iscfastpitch.com has a road map linked from the front page, showing various alternative routes. Click on the tournament logo and follow the links.
In addition, Pete Schueppert, Sports Manager of the Fox Cities CVB, has provided the following driving directions to avoid the road construction on College Avenue. These directions are to the Headquarters Hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) but Sunset Park is about 1 mile due north of the Hilton Garden Inn
Directions to the Hilton Garden Inn at 720 Eisenhower Dr. Kimberly, WI 54136
From the south:
Take Hwy 41 North towards Appleton
Take Exit 134 on to Hwy 441 North
Travel 441 North 7 miles, then take the CR-CE/College Ave. Exit
Turn right on to CR-CE/College Ave.
Turn left on to Eisenhower Dr. (hotel will be on the left)
From the North:
Take Hwy 41 South towards Appleton
Take Exit 145 on to Hwy 441 South
Travel 441 South 3 miles, then take the CR-CE/College Ave. Exit
Turn left on to CR-CE/College Ave.
Turn left on to Eisenhower Dr. (hotel will be on the left)
To get to Sunset Park when you leave the hotel, turn left onto College Ave and go to the next traffic light which is Railroad Street. Turn left on Railroad and take it north to Kimberly Ave. Turn left onto Kimberly Ave and Sunset Park is about 1/4 mile on your right. On Railroad Street, you'll pass Tanner's Grill & Bar which is the location of Sunday morning's Hall of Fame Breakfast.
We hope between above directions and the map on our web site, everyone will learn the routes needed to avoid construction and road closure on College Avenue in Appleton.
