The Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association and the Host Committee for
the 2008 Sr. Men's Canadian Softball Championships would like to remind
you we would hold a press conference highlighting the Canadian Men's
Fastpitch Championships in Saskatoon August 24-31.
It will take place on Tuesday August 19^th at 2:30 at the Ramada Hotel
and Golf Dome.

The Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association is proud to host Softball Canada’s Sr A Men’s Fastpitch Championships in Saskatoon with games starting on Sunday, August 24th and the finals on Sunday ,Augst 31st 2008.The Canadian Sr Men’s Fastpitch Championships will host 10 teams in Saskatoon with all games being played at Bob Van Impe Stadium & Gordie Howe Park. The teams participating and representing there provinces are
British Columbia –Vancouver Grey Sox , Defending Canadian Champions
Alberta 1 – Camrose Merchants
Alberta 2 –Horse Lake Thunder
Saskatchewan Host- Saskatoon Aspen Interiors
Saskatchewan 1 – Saskatoon Poly Plus Diamondbacks
Saskatchewan 2 –Bruno Merchants
Ontario 1 – Jarvis Gamblers
Ontario 2 –St Thomas Evergreen Centennials
Newfoundland- St John’s Westside Charlies Bud Light
Prince Edward Island- Charlottetown Hunters Ale House Fawcettes
The 10 teams listed above have listed players that are presently on Team Canada’s National Team Program. The event will profile the top Senior A Players in Canada and promises to provide an excellent venue of the top Fastpitch competition

Canadian Championship play begins Sunday, August 24th
Opening Ceremonies – Bob Van Impe Stadium Sunday , August 24th at 6:00pm
Sponsorship Luncheon – Bob Van Impe Stadium ,Wednesday , August 27th 11;30am
Playoff Round –Starts on the Evening of Friday August 29th at Bob Van Impe Stadium
Playoff Round Continues –Throughout Saturday ,August 30th at Bob Van Impe Stadium
Championships Finals – Sunday August 31st at Bob Van Impe Stadium
Semi Final at 11:00am – Finals at 1:30pm

Adult Day Pass - $ 15.00 until 5 pm
Adult Evening Pass - $ 10.00
Sr / Student Day Pass - $ 12.00 until 5 pm
