playoffs on Saturday
Impe Stadium, Jarvis Gamblers will take on their provincial rival in the 1 versus 4 game. This is a rematch of the heated extra inning affair that took place this afternoon, when Jeff Ellsworth hit a walk off homerun in the 8th inning to keep Jarvis undefeated. In the 8:30 game, Saskatoon Aspen Interiors will take on the defending Champions from Vancouver the Grey Soxs. The two teams played in an exciting game on Sunday night. In that game Aspen came back from 3-0 deficit scoring the winning run in the 7th inning on a Pat MacKintosh hit.
placers have been determined at the Senior Men’s Canadian Softball Championships. Horse Lake’s win over St. Thomas at 6:00 guaranteed that neither  Bruno Merchants or the Poly Plus Diamondbacks will make the playoffs, even though they play each other n the final game of the round robin. First place went to Jarvis with a 8-1 record after their 3-0 loss to Aspen. Second Place went to Aspen at 7-2 and third went to Vancouver Grey Sox at 5-4. Fourth place was determined by a tie breaking criteria as five teams were tied with a 4 wins 5 loss record. St Thomas Evergreen Centennials were awarded fourth place with a plus/minus of +2.
