Decos EHS beat Havlickuv Brod (CZ) 2-0 in semi final
A great effort by the entire Decos EHS team resulted in a spot in the Grand Final at the European Cup Winners Cup in Havlickuv Brod, Czech Republic.. Sebastian Gervasutti (ARG) threw a one hitter with 12k's. Decos EHS got three hits and unfortunately left 9 on base. Decos EHS scored in the first innings on a hit by Anthony Beaumont who stole second and scored on a passed ball and a wild pitch.
Karel Kadecka of Havlickuv Brod hit a ground rule double in the bottom of the first with a runner on first but this was the only Czech hit of the game. Rody Stam scored in the 6th after hetgot on with a walk and moved to third on a double by Etienne Meijer. Stam scored on another passed ball.
Czech pitcher Jaroslav Muller had also an excellent game with 10k's.
The second spot in the final will be decided in the game on Saturday morning between Havlickuv Brod and Horsholm from Denmark.
The Grand Final will be played at 17:30 and I will try to send a game report this weekend.
