Jarvis and St.Thomas must be getting sick of each other by now. After facing off in the Ontario Eliminations, they came here and played each other for the third time in this tournament. The semi final game saw lefty Paul Koert take to the circle for Jarvis matching up against St. Thomas’ Scott Wagar. Koert looked good early, shutting down his first three opponents, but Wagar was not so fortunate. He gave up a walk and three hits allowing two runs to give Jarvis the early lead. Dale Levy led off the 2^nd with a single and was stranded at second after stealing the base. Wagar got into more trouble in the 2^nd giving up a pair of hits including an RBI single to Ryan Thompson and was replaced by Todd Martin. The Gambler bats stayed hot, as they scored another run in the 3^rd to take a 4-0 lead. That was all koert needed as he was hardly threatened, going the distance giving up only 3 hits.
