MANITOULIN MEN'S FASTBALL FINALS GOES TO 5th AND DECIDING GAME
Following a tight 9-8 victory in Raiders' land on Monday night , the series returned to Wiky Tuesday night for a must victory for the Lumberjacks. The Lumberjacks did not disappoint the large home crowd who came out to see the game.The Raiders led 5-4 after three innings of play but Wiky tied it up with a home run in their bottom of the fifth. Wiky scored 4 in the sixth and 2 in the 7th and won going away 11-6 to tie up the best of five series at 2 .The winning pitcher was Brent Assinieway who went all the way while Aaron Owl was tagged with the loss. The fifth and deciding game goes tonight 7:30 PM in Wikwemikong where once again a large crowd is expected .
