Wikwemmikong Fastball Tournament

                   The annual Fall Fair Wikwemmikong Fastball tournament to be held from September 19th to 21st  this year has been cancelled due to lack of participating teams. The only tournament up North for that weekend is the 1st Annual Parry Island Men's Fastball tournament with 10 confirmed teams as of today Friday September the 12th.
                                                         Don't forget that the 3rd annual All-Star Extravaganza pitting the North Shore All-Stars and the Rick McDonald Memorial Fastball League All-Stars goes tomorrow Saturday September the 13th in Elliot Lake .The skills competition starts at 3 PM followed by the game at 5 PM .Check the attachment for the rosters of both teams.

        Coach :   Jim Ilnitski of the Dog House North Stars and involved with fastball for the past 50 years.He started in 1958 and played on several teams and leagues mostly as a pitcher for fastball and orthodox ball .
        Ass. coach and manager : Roger Legendre , past Commissioner of the Rick McDOnald Memorial Fastball League , presently public relations liaison of several leagues and tournaments , involved with fastball for at least 45 years going back to the hay day of fastball in the late 50''s and 60''s with the Church League and Nickel District Fastball League.
