This evening at 8:30, if the rain allows, the deciding game in the best of three Oshawa City and District Fastball League semi-final will take place at Durham Fields in Oshawa. The Lake Simcoe Lightning, behind the pitching of Greg Garrity, Rick May and Andy Skelton will visit the Oshawa Ravens who feature pitchers Paul Koert, Phil Yahn and Marty Humphries on the mound. The Lightning won game 1, 2 - 0, while the Ravens won game 2, 6 - 4 in the Lightning's Sharon Park.

 

The winner of tonight's scheduled game will meet the Aurora Shoeless Joe's team, who swept the Stouffville Mennos in the other semi final, 14 - 1 and 5 - 1 behind the strong pitching of their ace Todd Martin.

 

Durham Fields is located at Durham College, 2000 Simcoe Street, which is at Simcoe Street and Conlin Road, north of Taunton Road in Oshawa.
