2009 RED ROCK is Back!
 
After being forced to take a year off in 2008 due to the late withdrawal of our ball park by the 
City of St. George, Utah, we are pleased to announce that your Red Rock Tournament Committee,
after nearly two months of negotiations, have signed a deal with the Carson City Recreation
Department and the Carson City Convention Visitors Bureau to operate the very popular Red Rock
International Invitational for 2009 and beyond! It will have a new name!

(35-45 minute drive from Reno)
 
TOURNAMENT DATES: May 2 and 3, 2009
CLASSES: Major, A, AA, NAFA (ALL), (ASA A & B)
 
ENTRY FEE: $425 US
PITCHING RULE: ISC
ENTRY DEADLINE: March 1, 2009
FORMAT: Round Robin into single elimination.
GAMES GUARANTEED: Four (4)
ISC QUALIFIER: One World Tournament berth to highest finishing US West team. We are also attempting 
to get an ISC II (Tournament of Champions) berth to award as well.

As of this release date, 8-passenger minivans are available for $41 a day plus taxes and smaller cars are

Tournament Details:
 
We are looking for a 16 team tournament again this year.
 
It is expected teams will be from USA, Canada and Mexico.
 
Games will conclude on Sunday early enough for teams to make flights from Reno.
