ISC Travel League of Eastern Canada AGM

The ISC Travel League of Eastern Canada held its Annual General Meeting in Cambridge, Ontario on Sunday, January 4, 2009.

Nine teams attended the meeting or showed interest in returning to or joining the league for the 2009 season.

RETURNING TEAMS:

Owen Sound Volkswagens

Palermo Athletics
Kitchener Rivershark Twins - to be confirmed

Jarvis Gamblers
Wyevale Tribe
St. Thomas Evergreens

NEW TEAMS:

Owen Sound Selects

Port Elgin Blue Devils

Bridgeport Braves - to be confirmed

All nine teams except Kitchener were in attendance. Owen Sound Selects and Port Elgin Blue Devils made their commitment to join the league for 2009 and
were voted into the league. Bridgeport Braves will make their decision on joining the league at the February 22 meeting in Kitchener, where they could make a

commitment and be voted into the league as well. Kitchener have indicated they will attend the February meeting and the league hopes they will be able to make

a commitment to return to the league.

Various options for the league schedule were discussed, including a two division (north and south) system. Weekend play is once again an option, and teams playing each

other in local qualifiers and other tournaments is possible as well. The schedule will be worked out at the February meeting.
