SOFTBALL ONTARIO HOSTS A COACHES SYMPOSIUM 

NORTH YORK, ON-Softball Ontario is pleased to host a Coaches Symposium at Mohawk College in Brantford.  The Symposium hosted by Softball Ontario Coaching Committee and it is a great opportunity for Softball Coaches to gather to learn from the experts!

Presenters for this action packed day include:
Todd Martin considered an outstanding athlete and excellent pitcher in our great game. Todd played for the Canadian National Male Softball team. Some of his successes are the following: 2000 Canadian National Men's Team ; 1999 Canadian National Men'sTeam;  1999 Pan-Am Gold Medal Winner with Team Canada; 6 Time All WorldFastball Pitcher; 3 Time World Fastball Champion; 2 Time Fastball Most Valuable Pitcher World; 5 Time Fastball All-American
Topic: Advanced Pitching Skills and Drills

Erin Foreman-A Director of “Rising Stars” elite softball camps clinics and workshops; former member of Softball Canada’s National Team Program, NCAA All American, NFCA GreatLakes Region First Team Shortstop.  Erin will be assisted by Dr. Andrew Peters.
Topic: Dynamic Stretching and Strength conditioning activities for all ages; Batting; Infield and Outfield Skills and Drills

DaveBourne-has extensive background in Softball as Softball Ontario’s Coaching Chairman, Master Learning Facilitator, and his experience coaching softball at the provincial and national level

Softball Ontario must recruit a minimum of thirty-five (35)participants by February 19, 2009 in order to host the 2009 Coaches Symposium,so apply today!  If the minimum number of participants is not reached byFebruary 19, 2009, the Symposium will be cancelled.  Softball Ontario willcontinue to accept applications after the deadline providing the minimum ofthirty-five (35) participants have registered.  Softball Ontario willaccept registration beyond February 19, 2009 and on the actual day of theSymposium as along as the minimum number of participants has been met.

Note:   SoftballOntario will issue a full refund of $30.00 plus GST if a Symposium participantcancels before Thursday, February 19.
SoftballOntario is pleased to offer this opportunity to softball coaches who may wantto continue their professional development beyond the National CoachingCertification Program.  Ontario is putting its best efforts forward toprepare Coaches for the softball season.
