Is Your Softball Association Ready to 'Get In The Game'?

IS YOUR SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION READY TO 'GET IN THE GAME'? 

GITGS_Logo_2009.jpgNORTH YORK, ONTARIO - Softball Ontario is thrilled to announce that thirteen (13) Softball Associations have committed to sending representatives to the third annual Get In The Game Symposium on SaturdayFebruary 28, 2009 at the former Sport Alliance Building in North York. Softball Ontario encourages all Recreational Softball Associations to send representatives to discuss your association and learn how to improve softball in your area!


Participants in the GetIn The Game Symposium will have the opportunity to have a voice in the development of grassroots softball in Ontario, while also learning how to better their own Association.  Topics discussed at the 2009 Symposium include marketing, fundraising, building effective web sites, productive &fun practices, and more!  In addition, Softball Ontario will be launching a new initiative designed to help Softball Associations and to promotesoftball across the province!

The Get In The GameSymposium is a wonderful chance for Softball Associations to work together tomake the game of Softball better at all levels of the game.

         Time:        9:00AM – 5:00 PM (Registration begins at 8:00 AM)
         Location:   Former Sport Alliance Building

          Cost:         FREE

Participants will each receive a delegate bag containing free promotional materials and information from Softball Ontario.  In addition, an Exhibitor Marketplace will take place during the lunch-hour.
Travel (mileage) and accommodations will be provided by Softball Ontario for those who qualify.  Participants in the Symposium must register with Lisa Crompton  at Softball Ontario before February 13, 2009.
