 PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT AT THE SOFTBALLONTARIO'S COACHES SYMPOSIUM 
NORTHYORK, ONSoftball Ontario, Softball Canada and the Investor’s Group are thrilledthat Softball Coaches from across Ontario are signing up to gather at MohawkCollege in Brantford for the Softball Coaches Symposium.  It is a greatopportunity for Softball Coaches to learn from the experts!
Presentersfor this action packed day include:
ToddMartin- Toddis considered anoutstanding athlete and excellent pitcher in our great game. Todd plays for theCanadian National Male Softball team. Some of his successes are the following:4 Time World Champion, 9 Time All World, 3 Time MV Pitcher Worlds, 6 Time AllAmerican and representing Canada this summer at the ISF Men’sWorld’s Championships.

ErinFormanA Director of “Rising Stars” elite softball camps clinics andworkshops; former member of Softball Canada’s National Team Program, NCAAAll American, NFCA Great Lakes Region First Team Shortstop.

Dr.Andrew Peters- Dr. Peters received his Physical Education from Western University and is amember in good standing within the Ontario College of Teachers. He is the ExecutiveDirector of "Rising Stars" an organization initially born through theimplementation of developmental athletic and social programs for First Nationsyouth. Rising Stars has experienced significant growth and diversification. Theorganization has expanded to provide sports and athletic camps, clinics, andworkshops; now available throughout southern Ontario.

DaveBourneDave has an extensive background in Softball as Softball Ontario’sCoaching Chairman, Master Learning Facilitator, and his experience coachingsoftball at the provincial and national level.  In 2009, Coach Bourne wasnamed Softball Canada's Home Run Sports Coach of the Year.

SoftballOntario must recruit a minimum of thirty-five (35) participants by February 19,2009 in order to host the 2009 Coaches Symposium, so apply today!  If theminimum number of participants is not reached by February 19, 2009, theSymposium may be cancelled.  Softball Ontario will continue to acceptapplications after the deadline providing the minimum of thirty-five (35)participants have registered.  Softball Ontario will accept registrationbeyond February 19, 2009 and on the actual day of the Symposium as along as theminimum number of participants has been met.
Note:   Softball Ontario will issue a full refund of $30.00 plus GST if a Symposiumparticipant cancels before Thursday, February 19.
SoftballOntario is pleased to offer this opportunity to softball coaches who may wantto continue their professional development beyond the National CoachingCertification Program.  Ontario is putting its best efforts forward toprepare Coaches for the softball season.
